About Percolation/Leaching Chambers

The chamber is really quite simple. It is simply a replacement for the stone and perforated pipe. (See EPA Code of practice 7.2.4. pg 24.)

Benefits include:

> maintain the structure of the excavation
> apply the waste water to a greater infiltrative surface
> provide storage volume within the voids for peak flows

The treatment occurs in the non saturated zone beneath the biomat. Infiltrator therefore replaces the stone as neither provides treatment.

This product is ideal for new build installations or for retro fitting existing/upgrading existing malfunctioning percolation areas.
