Pressurised Distribution System
About Pressurised Distribution System
Pressure Distribution Systems Installations are becoming more frequent around the country because the system can be tailored to match the requirements of each site by calculating the water flow from each hole in the pipework.
The holes must be of uniform size and free from burrs (common in polyethylene flexible pipes) that will clog very quickly. Pre-drilled PVC pipes are supplied with an accurate size and number of discharge holes.
The advantage of a pumped distribution system is that the water can be pumped throughout the pipe network and dispersed over the entire soil polishing filter area more evenly than by a gravity system.
It is absolutely VITAL that each pressurised system is designed specifically for each individual site. Pumping distances, levels and dose volumes need to be factored into each design.
It is essential that pressure exists to the furthermost part of the network in order to optimise distribution throughout the percolation area. All SiteAssessor.com design solutions are based on the US EPA Wastewater Design Manual Onsite Wastewater Treatment and Disposal Systems, EPA 625/1-80-012. It is this manual that the IRL EPA Code of Practice makes reference to on page 103 of the CoP.
SiteAssessor.com can provide the Homeowner, Ground worker, Architect, Site Assessor, and Engineer with a fully comprehensive design solution for any site.
We supply, design, and install all the materials associated with the pressurised system so there is no running around from A-B and the installation can progress smoothly.
Installation on site is completed in less that 2 hrs for most sites as 95% of the prefabrication has taken place off site.
